Change of Address in RC
When a vehicle owner shifts residence (within the same city, district, or to another state), the new address must be updated in the Registration Certificate (RC) at the Regional Transport Office (RTO).
When is Address Change in RC Required?
If the owner shifts residence to a new address within the same RTO area.
If the owner moves to another RTO within the same state.
If the owner moves to a different state → RC must be updated after getting a No Objection Certificate (NOC)from the old RTO.
